County Boards and Committees
The Ferry County Board of Commissioner’s are requesting applications to fill eight open positions on the Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC). The Ferry County SWAC is an advisory committee appointed by the County Commissioners to provide a balanced representation of the citizen interests of the county and to advise and make recommendations on solid waste issues. Members attend 3 meetings a year. One in February, one in April and one in October. SWAC members serve without compensation.
If you are interested in serving on the SWAC, please respond by letter to Ferry County Commissioners’ Office, 290 E. Tessie Ave., Republic, WA 99166 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Briefly state in your letter why you are interested in serving on the SWAC, and include any related background experience that you may have. If you have any questions regarding the SWAC, please feel free to contact the Ferry County Public Works Solid Waste Division at 775-5225, ex. 4110.
