Project and Planning Schedule for 2011

2011 Project Construction Schedule:

culvert replacement at Barnaby Creek and Inchelium Highway

MP 12.53 Inchelium Hwy
Funded by: Colville Confederated Tribes.
Dates: Work will begin March 21, 2011 with estimated completion date of July 31, 2011

Scope of work includes: Dirt work for construction of a temporary by-pass route, placement of 24’ fish passage culvert and by-pass culvert. Back fill and repaving of Roadway.

 

Bridge Creek 4 Construction

MP 17.40 to 20.40
Funded by: Rural Arterial Program (RAP) and Local funds
Dates: Estimated start date May 16, 2011 and will run to the first of July with guardrail work being completed in September.

Scope of project includes: Reconstruction of 3.0 miles; by recycling existing pavement, adding cement to stabilize the base, CSTC for widening, paving with an asphalt surface and installing guardrail where needed.

 

Inchelium Highway Seal Coat Project

MP 0.0 to 3.0
Funded by: County Road Arterial Preservation
Dates: Work is estimated to begin June 27, 2011 and completed by July 1, 2011

Scope of project includes: Pre-level of existing roadway and a Bituminous Surface Treatment.

 

Tonasket Creek/Otis Creek Road Improvements

CRP 112
MP 3.0 to 4.5
Funded by: WSDA Forest Service Title II Funds and Local Funds
Dates: Work is estimated to begin July 11th and completed by August 1, 2011

Scope of project includes: Improvements of 1 to 1.5 miles of roadway, the work will consist of roadway widening from 16 to 20 feet wide, roadside ditches for drainage and roadway surfacing material as needed. Thinning of trees as needed to widen roadway prism.

 

Customs Road Reconstruction

MP 0.0 to 0.5
Funded by: Kinross Gold Corporation, Echo Bay Minerals Co. and Local funds
Dates: Work will begin on or about August 1, 2011 and be completed by September 1, 2011

Scope of project includes: Reconstruction of 0.5 miles; by recycling existing pavement, adding cement to stabilize the base, CSTC for widening, paving with an asphalt surface.

 

2012 Project Construction Schedule:

Bridge Creek 10 Construction

CRP 101
MP 3.0 to 5.80
Funded by: Rural Arterial Program (RAP) and Local funds
Dates: Construction is estimated to start May 2012 and could go as late as October 2012. Preliminary engineering, surveying estimated start date September 1, 2011 through October 2011.

Scope of project includes: Reconstruction of 2.8 miles of roadway, by recycling existing pavement, CSTC, cement for base stabilization, paving with cold mix asphalt, bituminous surface treatment for final surface, guardrail as needed, striping and signage.

 

Ferry County Run-Off-Road Safety Project

CRP 121
Various mile posts on Inchelium Highway and West Curlew Lake Road
Funded by: 2010 County Road Safety Program, Federal Funding
Dates: Construction is estimated May 2012 to July 31, 2012

Scope of project includes: Road side guide post, guardrail, and new signage.
