FERRY COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
IN THE MATTER OF:
ADOPTING THE SIX-YEAR TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That on October 6th, 2014 at the hour of 1:00 PM in the Commissioners' Office of Ferry County located at 290 E. Tessie, Republic, Washington, a PUBLIC HEARING will be held in the matter of:
Adopting the 2015 to 2020 Ferry County Six Year Transportation Improvement Plan
CALL FOR BIDS
The Ferry County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids at the Commissioners' Office, located at 290 E. Tessie Av. Republic, Washington until the hour of 1:00 PM, on Monday, November 10th, 2014, after which time bids will be opened and publicly read for the improvement project described below:
Bridge Creek Lakes East BST
Reconstruction of 7.61 miles of roadway
All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Bidder is solely responsible for the timely receipt of his/her bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the County. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid which it appears will best suit the County's need and interest.
Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes clearly marked
"Ferry County Bridge Creek Lakes East BST, CRP #13-05”, in lower left corner of envelope. Faxed bids will not be accepted.
Plan sets and contract documents may be obtained at Ferry County Public Works Department, 350 E. Delaware # 8, Republic, WA 99166-9747, upon payment of a $30 non-refundable fee. For additional information call 509.775.5225.
The County, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award.
