The Planning Commission meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 6:00pm in the Planning Department.
Until further notice, the Planning Commission will also be meeting on the 4th Wednesday of every month.

 

FERRY COUNTY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

That on May 25, 2016 at 6:00  p.m. to no later than 8:30 p.m. at the Planning Department at 147 N. Clark Ave, Republic, Washington, a PUBLIC HEARING will be held by the Planning Commission in the matter of: 

The discussion of the revisions to the Ferry County Draft Development Regulations Ordinance #2016-04.  The changes are to meet the requirements of the Growth Management Act regarding Agricultural Land of Long-Term Commercial Significance designation.  Copies of the changes may be obtained from the Ferry County Planning Department at 147 N. Clark, Suite 7, Republic, WA (509) 775-5225 x 3101.  Public comment will be accepted by the Planning Department until 8:00 a.m. on July 5, 2016.  A Public Hearing on the draft changes will also be held by the Board of County Commissioners on August 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Commissioners Office at 290 East Tessie Ave, Republic, WA.  Comments will be received at the public hearing, however no further comments will be accepted after the public hearing.  Possible action may be taken on the draft ordinances following the public hearing or at the Board of County Commissioner’s regular meeting on August 8, 2016 at 11:00 p.m.

FERRY COUNTY REVISED ORDINANCE  

Ferry County has a revised draft ordinance out for a 60-day public review.  It is the draft Development Regulations Ordinance #2016-04.  The changes are to meet the requirements of the Growth Management Act regarding Agricultural Land of Long-Term Commercial Significance designation.  Public comment will be accepted until 8:00 a.m. on July 5, 2016.  Copies of the revised draft ordinance is available at the Ferry County Planning Department, PO Box 305, Republic, WA 99166; 509 775-5225 x 3101.
