Public Works Project Engineer

Job Description

Ferry County Human Resources is accepting applications until 4:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017 for a Project Engineer in the Ferry County Public Works Dept. Starting salary is $44,551.00 annually. This position may remain open until a qualified candidate is found. This position is 40 hr/week. This position is responsible for managing county construction projects from preliminary engineering phase, design phase, bid-lettering phase, and construction phase to final completion of all items necessary to complete the project including the records and paperwork. Prepares requests for proposals, coordinates engineering consult selection, preparation of contractual agreements and manages consultant contract work on county studies and design projects for roads, bridges, and relates capital facilities. Requires oral and written communication skills with  proficiency using computers and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
