CRIME VICTIMS ADVOCATE-PREVENTION AND
EDUCATION SPECIALIST

Ferry County Human Resources is accepting applications for the position of Ferry County Connections Crime Victims Advocate/Prevention and Education Specialist. First review of applications will be September 24, 2014. This position may remain open until a qualified candidate is found. This position is 40 hours per week and starting wage is $12.60 per hour. The position provides support and advocacy to victims of crime and provides education on crime victim’s issues and services to the community and agency staff. Increases community awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault and implements prevention projects in the community. Acts as liaison between victim and law enforcement, attorneys, Crime Victim’s Compensation program and/or medical personnel.

Job Description

Ferry County Human Resources is accepting applications until 4:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 for the position of Ferry County Deputy Clerk of the Board. This position may remain open until a qualified candidate is found.

This is a full time position with benefits. The position requires the ability to work independently in the planning & organization of daily operations of the Commissioners’ Office.  Serves as a communication liaison to other County departments, media, local, State and Federal Agencies and to the public. Exercises judgment in determination of various day-to-day issues and problems. Participates in appropriate training and educational opportunities, including attendance at conferences and seminars.  A positive attitude and ability to work well with the public and co-workers is a must.
