E-911 COORDINATOR

Job Description

Ferry County Human Resources is accepting applications until 4:00 PM on Friday, December 19, 2014 for the position of E-911 Coordinator. This position may remain open until a qualified candidate is found. This is a full time position, includes benefits and starting salary is $45,127 annually.

Position Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, valid Washington State Driver’s License, budgeting experience and effective written and verbal skills. Desired Experience: Radio Communications, Mapping, Emergency Medical Dispatching, Fire Dispatching and Law Enforcement Dispatching. A positive attitude and ability to work well with the public and co-workers is a must.

GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

Job Description

Ferry County Human Resources is accepting applications for the position of Ferry County Geographic Information Systems Specialist (GIS). This position may remain open until a qualified candidate is found. First review of applicants will be December 5, 2014.

The GIS Specialist will be responsible for all GIS data for the present and future needs of Ferry County and provide professional and technical advice to Ferry County departments in GIS mapping and maintaining existing maps and will be required to drive out to locations of prospective address sites for the purpose of geocoding, as well as interacting with the public for the purpose of assigning addresses. A positive attitude and ability to work well with the public and co-workers is a must.

Public Safety Testing conducts Ferry County's written and physical agility examinations for Field Deputies, Corrections Officers and Communications Officers (911 Emergency Dispatchers).
