Change of Value notices have been sent to all property owners in Reval 2; look at the map below.
Property owners have until July 1st to visit with the appraiser about their new values (call the phone number to the right), to have any adjustments made or to file an appeal with the Board of Equalization.
A letter was sent out with all notices to explain the valuation process and to show a chart that helps demonstrate what sales are doing in our county in 2008 & 2009. Revaluation Letter
Cycles
Ferry County is on a four-year revaluation cycle. Every parcel is physically inspected once every four years unless there is the addition of 'new construction'.
A parcel's revaluation date is always January 1st. Physical inspection takes place in the months preceding.
Change of Value notices are sent out the end of May giving property owners at least 30 days to discuss their values with our office and/or to submit an appeal form to the Board of Equalization.
The new value will affect taxes the following year.
